Tawanda Sydnor better known as “Syd” is the CEO of Interior Finishes by Sydnor LLC- a General Contracting company in Philadelphia PA. She has over fifteen years of experience working in the Construction industry in the skilled trades as well as supervisory and management positions and ten years of experience teaching Construction skills to adult learners.
She has designed and facilitated Building Trades courses that consist of both hands-on and theoretical learning and skill building- preparing individuals to enter into various careers in Construction. Most recently she has provided Construction Management Consulting services to multiple Real Estate investors in the Philadelphia area helping them navigate through their projects in the residential and commercial markets.
Some notable projects Syd has managed include the installation of the SEPTA Keycard system and two high-profile construction projects with the United States Department of the Navy including designing and facilitating Technical Training courses for Naval Yard job candidates. Her educational background is in Engineering Science, Construction, and Construction Management.
